Thanks Kurt
Haven’t seen this before…fantastic and I learnt a lot more about the songs. Thanks for the English commentary. A classic album from start to finish, and one that is still being played to this day. My favourite songs are ” Life Could Not Be Better ” and ” Twice In A Lifetime “, I’ve always felt they could’ve been released as singles.
I felt a bit sad when I heard you say this was closing the door on Double, but I understand totally. As an artist you must always be looking forward to your next work ( which of course, I have been playing !! ). Needless to say, I will never be closing the door on Double or Kurt Maloo….in fact I will be turning up the volume and opening a few windows !!
Thanks again, for a very informative and enjoyable 48 minutes. Would be nice to see more of you in this media.
First of all… Great for me being in a blog that belongs to a famous band!
I guess the ‘trademark’ is the immortal THE CAPTAIN OF THE HEART – still is a hit in my country (Brazil); and can be listened to in some RADIO STATIONS… Ah, and was one of the musics that had to do to a famous soap opera called CAMBALACHO (I even had the cassette!).
I confess I discovered minutes ago that is a Swiss band! Europe has GREAT bands: Alphaville/Sandra/Odyssey/DJ Bobo (he is Swiss too).
I finish here.
Lots of luck,
Rodrigo O. Rosa (Porto Alegre_South of Brazil)
