Converting old VHS cassettes to digital media, I’ve found the 1995 music video for “Young King”. It was shot in Middle Sweden and Stockholm. Besides the stunning locations of 19th century castles we were allowed to film at Stockholm’s town hall, or more precisely, in the upper ballroom, where the after show party of the Nobel Prize Event takes place. It’s a unique location. With all the gold around you can imagine yourself B.C. at Cleopatra’s rather than being in the 90s in protestant Stockholm.

I haven’t been on stage in my hometown for 25 years. Shame on me. I will finally change this on November 12 at the Moods in Zurich. The show’s called “Kurt Maloo plays Double and more…”, which means you won’t miss the hits from the 80s but will also hear some new stuff from my albums “Soul and Echo” and “Loopy Avenue”.
